Week Clock is an alarm clock for the things that don't happen every day: rent, pay days, rosters, bills, appointments, car services and more. It does the basics too: once, every day, chosen weekdays, every week or every month. Its speciality is every 2, 4 or 6 weeks or every 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, and each one rings as a real alarm when it's due.

The big clock shows the time, and the ring around it shows where you are in your cycle. For example, with a 6-week cycle it shows Week 1 of 6, the day number and how long until a new cycle starts. Tap the cycle buttons under the clock to switch views. Tap Change to set the day your cycle starts, for example your first pay day or roster day.
The Next card shows the reminder coming up soonest. Each reminder's coloured bar fills up as its next alarm gets closer.
Tap Snooze or Done on the alarm screen. To change how long Snooze lasts (5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes), tap the ⚙ settings button in Week Clock.
Both work on Week Clock's own alarm screen. The lock-screen alarm is run by iOS, which always rings at full volume and stops with one tap.
Deleted it by mistake, or ticked a one-off and it disappeared? Open ⚙ Settings → Recently finished and tap Restore. Finished and deleted reminders wait there for 7 days. To get rid of one for good, tap its ✕ there, or Empty all, then Yes.
Each card says how it repeats: Rings once, 2 wks, Weekdays and so on. A reminder that rings once is finished when you tick it; one that repeats moves on to its next time.
Yes. While adding or editing a reminder, tap the alarm sound, then Choose your own…, and pick:
Up to 10 minutes of the song plays on Week Clock's own alarm screen (and when you press ▶). The lock-screen alarm uses the first 30 seconds on repeat, because iOS only allows alarm sounds of up to 30 seconds. Either way it keeps going until you tap Done or Snooze.
If the button doesn't open the app, they can tap Copy the code, open Week Clock, tap +, then Paste shared reminder. Each person gets their own copy, so if you change yours later, just share it again. The reminder travels inside the link itself and isn't stored on any server.
Yes. In New reminder, choose an Early warning: 1 hour, 1 day, 3 days or 1 week before. You'll get a quiet notification ("Coming up: Pay rent") at that time, and the real alarm still rings on the day.
Yes. In New reminder, under On a weekend or public holiday, choose Day before (for example, paid on the Friday) or Day after (for example, a bill paid on the Monday). Australia's national public holidays count too: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, King's Birthday, Christmas and Boxing Day. The card shows "(moved from Sun)", and the repeat itself stays on its normal days. The Payday and Rent quick-start buttons use Day before, and Bills uses Day after.
It then rings before every working shift, skips your days off, and repeats the pattern forever. The card shows "Roster · Today: Night", and the alarm says which shift it is ("Work · Night shift").
Yes, up to 6 times. Under the time, in Also rings at, tap + Add a time, pick it, then Add (for example medicine at 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM). The card shows "2× a day". Each time rings on its own, and ✓ or Snooze affects just that time.
Yes. In New reminder, under Checklist (optional), type an item (for example "Bring logbook") and tap +. You can add up to 10. On the reminder card, tap Checklist 0/2 to open it and tick items off; it turns blue when everything's done. The list also shows when the alarm rings, and the boxes clear when the reminder moves on to its next time. The Car service, Bills and Check-up quick-start buttons come with a starter list.
Yes. Under Ends, pick On date (for example, the end of a lease) or After a number of times (for example, a 6-week course). The card shows "3 left" or "until 30 Jun 2027", and the reminder removes itself after its last time.
Shortcuts for common reminders: Payday, Rent, Bills, Bin night, Roster, Car service, Check-up and Medicine, and under More: Gym, Haircut, Dentist, Car rego, Insurance, Mortgage, Water plants, Pet meds, Change sheets, Smoke alarm and Birthday. One tap fills in the name, repeat, time and early warning. You can change anything before saving.
Yes. In ⚙ Settings, turn Voice reminders On. Then tap the microphone button (above the + button, or next to "New reminder") and say it in your own words, for example:
Say the whole reminder; when you've finished (a few seconds of quiet), Week Clock fills in the form and keeps listening. Check it, then say "save". You can also say a change, such as "at 8 pm", "every 4 weeks", "repeat" or "call it Rent", or say "cancel" to stop listening and use the buttons instead. The first time, allow Microphone and Speech Recognition. Nothing you say is recorded or kept.
Songs streamed or downloaded through an Apple Music subscription are protected by Apple, and Apple only lets its own Clock app use them as alarms. Week Clock will tell you if you pick one. Songs you've bought in the iTunes Store, or your own music added to the Music app from a computer, work fine. You can also choose a sound file from Files.
Open Settings → Apps → Week Clock and turn on Media & Apple Music. Then try again.
Tap ⚙ settings to pick a theme (Midnight, Daylight, Forest or Sunset) and to put your own words, up to 40 characters, inside the clock face. Longer words go onto two or three lines and shrink to fit. Examples are a favourite verse, a goal or your name.
Tap the globe button (top-left on iPhone and iPad, next to ⚙ on a computer). Every country is listed A–Z with its capital city and the time there (countries with several time zones, like the United States, Canada, Australia and Russia, also show one city for each zone), plus how far ahead or behind you it is and whether it's already tomorrow. Scroll up and down, or type in the search box, for example "Fiji" or "Suva". On iPhone and iPad the times come from iOS itself, so daylight-saving changes are always up to date.
Yes, through iCloud. Use the same Apple ID on both, and check ⚙ Settings → iCloud sync is On (it is by default). Add, edit or tick a reminder on one and the other updates within seconds to a few minutes. The first time, the two lists are combined, so nothing is lost and nothing appears twice.
If it doesn't sync: make sure you're signed in to iCloud (Settings app → your name) and that iCloud Drive is turned on.
Reminders you already have are skipped, so you can do this as often as you like. It works the other way too, from Windows to your iPhone.
If you set up your new phone from an iCloud or computer backup of your old one, your Week Clock reminders are usually restored with it. If you set it up as a new phone, you'll need to add your reminders again.
