Week Clock – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

In short: Week Clock does not collect, store, sell or share any of your personal information. Everything you put into the app stays on your own device.

Who we are

Week Clock is made by James Jnr Keikura, an independent developer in Sydney, Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "the developer" mean James Jnr Keikura, and "the app" means Week Clock on iPhone, iPad and other devices.

What the app collects

Nothing. Week Clock has:

iCloud sync (iPhone and iPad)

If you're signed in to iCloud and iCloud sync is on (Settings in the app), Week Clock keeps a copy of your reminder list in your own iCloud account, so your iPhone and iPad show the same reminders. This copy is stored by Apple under your Apple ID and protected by Apple's Privacy Policy. We (the developer) cannot see or access it. You can turn iCloud sync off at any time in the app's Settings.

Backup (Export / Import)

Export all creates a code containing your reminders and hands it to the app you choose (for example Mail or Notes), so you can move them to another device. It is not sent to us.

What stays on your device

The following is saved only on your own phone, tablet or computer, inside the app's private storage:

We cannot see this information. If you delete the app, all of it is deleted from that device. If you back up your device with iCloud or your computer, Apple may include the app's data in that backup, under Apple's own privacy terms.

Permissions the app asks for

Week Clock only asks for a permission when you use the feature that needs it. You can say no, or change your mind later in your device's Settings.

PermissionWhy it's used
AlarmsTo ring your reminders as real alarms at the times you set, including on the lock screen and when the phone is on Silent.
NotificationsTo remind you on devices or system versions where full-screen alarms aren't available.
Music libraryOnly used when you tap "Choose your own…" and pick Music Library. Only the song you pick is used: up to 10 minutes of it is copied into the app, on your device, to use as an alarm sound. The rest of your library is not read, stored or shared.
Microphone & Speech RecognitionOnly used if you turn on Voice reminders in Settings and tap the microphone. Your words are turned into text by Apple's speech recognition — on your device whenever your device supports it — and the text is used only to fill in the reminder form. Week Clock does not record, store or send your voice or the text anywhere. If your device can't do this on its own, Apple may process the audio on its servers under Apple's Privacy Policy.
FilesOnly the sound file you pick yourself is copied into the app, to use as an alarm sound.

The app does not use your location, contacts, camera, photos, Bluetooth or health data, and it only uses the microphone as described above. Some of these are mentioned in the app's settings only because Apple requires a description for every system feature a built-in software library could access. Week Clock never uses them.

Apple and the App Store

When you download or buy Week Clock, Apple handles the purchase, payment and download. Apple may also give developers anonymous, combined statistics, such as the number of downloads or crash reports, but only if you have chosen to share them in your device's settings. This information does not identify you. Apple's handling of your information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you join a TestFlight beta, Apple may share the email address you used for the invitation, and any feedback or crash reports you choose to send, with the developer. These are used only to improve the app.

Sharing a reminder

When you tap Share, Week Clock creates a link that contains that one reminder (its name, repeat, time and settings) and hands it to the app you choose, such as Messages or WhatsApp. The reminder is inside the link itself; it is not uploaded to or stored on any server run by us. The person you send it to can add it to their own Week Clock. Only share reminders you're happy for that person to see.

Emailing us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix problems. We don't add you to any mailing list or share your email with anyone, and you can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

Children

Week Clock is suitable for all ages. It does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Security

Because your information never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and encryption. We recommend keeping your device's software up to date.

Your choices

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we ever start collecting any information, we will say so here first, and the app will ask for your permission.
